Top 12 Jewelry Manufacturers in Vietnam (2026)
A short, honest shortlist. Vietnam has roughly 93 jewellery manufacturers in business directories and only three hold Responsible Jewellery Council certification, so this list starts from verifiable credentials rather than directory volume. Covers fine gold, 925 demi-fine, buffalo horn and cultured pearl. Primo Agency is listed first as your independent sourcing partner.

Vietnam Jewelry Market Overview (2025)
Set your expectations first. Vietnam exported US$379 million of precious stones, metals and articles in the first seven months of 2025, against US$586 million across eleven months of 2024. This is a half-billion-dollar trade, not a multi-billion one, and it leans heavily on one market: the United States took 38.5% of it. Read the headline HS-71 figures carefully, because roughly half of that chapter is re-exported diamonds rather than finished jewellery.
The shortlist is genuinely short, and that is the useful finding. More than 73% of the domestic market sits with family workshops and small retailers, business directories count only about 93 manufacturers nationally, and the Responsible Jewellery Council registry lists exactly three certified Vietnamese manufacturers. Be careful when searching: two of the pages ranking highest for Vietnamese jewellery manufacturing are in fact factories in Jaipur and Guangzhou.
Export-capable factories cluster inside export processing zones for a specific legal reason. Decree 24/2012 licenses gold trading tightly and the State Bank controls raw-gold import and export, so serious exporters operate under temporary-import-for-re-export rules in bonded zones such as Linh Trung 2 and Tan Thuan. Beyond Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, watch Thanh Hoa as a low-cost cluster, and Binh Duong, where Pandora’s US$150 million plant opens in 2026 after Vietnam was chosen over 26 other countries.
What Vietnam genuinely owns is craft, and it is older than the industry. Three northern villages have worked precious metal for centuries: Chau Khe in Hai Duong, founded under King Le Thanh Tong in the fifteenth century and the origin of Hanoi’s Silver Street, where around 300 households and nearly 1,000 goldsmiths still work today; Dong Xam in Thai Binh, nearly 600 years of silver chasing across 150 workshops and 4,000 workers; and Dinh Cong in Hanoi. Add Thuy Ung, 400 years of buffalo horn carving using only heat and oil on horn upcycled from the food industry, and lacquer work with inlaid mother-of-pearl. That combination is not available from Chinese or Indian suppliers.
On compliance, the binding constraint for European buyers is REACH Annex XVII Entry 27: nickel release below 0.2 µg/cm² per week for piercing posts and below 0.5 µg/cm² per week for anything in prolonged skin contact, tested to EN 1811 and EN 12472. Lead must stay under 0.05% and cadmium under 0.01% by weight. Ask for Kimberley Process documentation on anything diamond-set. MOQs run from 25 pieces at the smallest demi-fine workshops to full-line runs at the large plants, and US duty treatment on jewellery has changed several times since 2025, so confirm the current rate with your broker before you commit.
